Jane Curtin
Jane Curtin can currently be seen starring as Professor Mary Albright, the object of
John Lithgow's affections, in the hit comedy series
3rd Rock From the Sun.
Curtin initially gained fame as one of the original Not Ready For Primetime Players on Saturday Night Live. During her five-year stint, she created a number of memorable characters, including Prymaat Conehead, teamed with Dan Aykroyd, and Mrs. Lubner, the mom of Gilda Radner's Lisa Lubner. She went on to star opposite Susan St. James in the sitcom Kate and Allie, winning two Emmy Awards for her portrayal of a divorcee trying to make a new life for herself. Her longform television credits include Common Ground, Maybe Baby, Divorce Wars: A Love Story and Tad, in which she played Mary Todd Lincoln.
On the big screen, she and Dan Aykroyd reunited for The Coneheads feature, and Curtin also had roles in such films as How to Beat the High Cost of Living, Suspicion and Robert Altman's O.C. and Stiggs.
