A veteran of film and television since starring in David Lean's Doctor Zhivago, Chaplin has worked with many highly acclaimed directors. She starred in Martin Scorsese's Age of Innocence; Franco Zefferelli's Jane Eyre; Robert Altman's Remember My Name, Nashville, and Buffalo Bill and the Indians; Richard Attenborough's Chaplin; Alan Rudolph's The Moderns and Welcome to L.A.; and James Ivory's Roseland.
Other film credits include the 1974 version of The Three Musketeers, A Duel of Love, White Mischief, Return of the Musketeers, I Killed Rasputin, Innocent Bystanders, I Want to Go Home, Crimetime and The Eyes of Asia, among others.
