Steve Rash
Steve Rash first gained attention in the feature film world as the mastermind behind The Buddy Holly Story which garnered three Academy Award nominations (the film won an Oscar for Best Music). The filmmaker got his start by working his way up through a series of production jobs until founding Innovisions, a pioneering production company that was the at the forefront of the music-video movement that soon gave rise to the MTV network. There, he directed videos for artists such as Billy Joel, B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers and The Who. He has gone on to direct an eclectic mix of films such as Under the Rainbow, Can't Buy Me Love, Queens Logic, and Son-In-Law. Before directing, he was a cameraman on ABC's Wide World of Sports.
