Aris Alvarado

Aris Alvarado acquired his love for acting as well as street smarts in the East Village in Manhattan's Lower East Side. There he entertained at parties lip-syncing and break-dancing as early as the age of ten. The class clown of his Catholic school, Alvarado was once dared by his sixth grade teacher to audition for a school play called The Littlest Angel. Far from an angel in real life, Alvarado won the lead role, and by the end of the first show he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

Winning a scholarship to attend Cardinal Hayes High School, where he studied alongside many notable alumni including Martin Scorsese, Alvarado grew up in the East Village, and set his sights on attending NYU. His dream came true, and there he developed his craft and became a professional actor.

Recruited by the Shakespearean group The Frog and Peach Theater Company, Alvarado also worked as a DJ for the New York Bowlmor Lanes where he spun records for many celebrity clients including Conan O'Brien and Adam Sandler.

In 2000, Alvarado moved to Hollywood where he worked his way up as a regular on Fox's Boston Public, after which he got his big break when he was cast in the role of Caesar, the short order cook at Luke's Diner on The Gilmore Girls. Then, in 2004, he earned a guest star role on CBS's Cold Case and the year after he landed several national commercials. In 2006, he guest starred on NCIS, playing Thomas Zepeda, a Salvadorian gang leader, and today he is concentrating on gaining more roles on the big screen.
