Kristin Cavallari (born January 14, 1987 in Chicago, Illinois) is known mainly for her role on the MTV reality TV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County

She was one of several teenagers, who had their real lives captured on the reality TV show, as she progressed from a high school junior in the first season to a senior in the second seson of the show. The show is promoted as the real-life version of the Fox TV series The O.C.; which is a fictional program, also set in the wealthy coastal community of Orange County, California. Over time, Kristin has become the most prominent member of the show.

As a result of the recognition the show has given her, Kristin appeared in the October 2005 edition of Seventeen magazine. Also in 2005, she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live along side Adam Brody of The O.C..

Kristin has been romantically linked to several male celebrities, including Matt Leinart, the Heisman Trophy winning quarterback from the University of Southern California. As of September 2005, she has been linked romantically to Princes of Malibu star Brody Jenner.

December 3, 2005 she attended vh1's the Big in 05 Awards, as a nominee for it girl of 2005, which Lindsey Lohan won.
