Katherine Fugate
Fugate also has several film projects currently in development with major studios, including Three Days at New Line Cinema, starring Jennifer Aniston, who will also act as producer along with Brad Pitt, Wayne Rice and Mike Karz; NFL Dad at Warner Bros, produced by Michael Barnathan and directed by Chris Columbus; Pompeii for Paramount Pictures, produced by David Foster and directed by Jon Amiel; and the screen adaptation of the novel Veronika Decides to Die, by Paulo Coelho, which she will co-produce alongside Gillian Anderson, who will also star.
For television, Fugate wrote episodes of the popular action adventure series Xena: Warrior Princess, for Studios USA and Universal Pictures; and Max Steel, for Sony Entertainment.
A native of Los Angeles, where she still makes her home, Fugate earned her B.A. in theatre arts with a minor in journalism from the University of California. She is the niece of television star Barbara Eden of I Dream of Jeannie.
