Tom Cavanagh
On the small screen, Cavanagh had a recurring role on NBC's Providence as a vulnerable young man from Newfoundland who thought he was a dog until he discovered his inner man. Earlier, he starred alongside Della Reese in the TV movie Anya's Bell.
Cavanagh's feature-film credits include the family drama Northern Lights (where he played Diane Keaton's brother) as well as the adventure Magic in the Water and the action-thriller Mask of Death. His additional film credits include The Dukes, Honeymoon, Movin' On Up and Car 54. Last year, Cavanagh took advantage of his hiatus break to star in the cable movie, Bang, Bang, You're Dead, about school violence, based on the award-winning play of the same name.
When he's not working, Cavanagh still avidly participates in many sports. He maintains his home in Los Angeles while Ed films in the New York area.
