Jody Racicot

Jody Racicot has been honing his craft for 20 years. Classically trained at the George Brown Theatre School in Toronto, he began his career on stage, appearing in more than 30 theatre productions before landing his first film role as Pigman in the 1993 comedy PCU.

Since then, this chameleonlike character actor has been playing off-the-wall characters in dozens of films and TV shows, including memorable performances in The Lizzie McGuire Movie, The Tuxedo, The X-Files (series) and Stark Raving Mad.

Racicot was nominated for a Leo Award (Canada) as Best Actor in a Guest Starring Role for his work on the SCI FI Original series Stargate SG–1.

He moved to coastal British Columbia in 2002 to take advantage of its extraordinary recreational opportunities and healthful lifestyle. An avid golfer, skier and hiker, Racicot is also a passionate woodworker. It is not unusual to find him harvesting storm-fallen timber or beachcombing for interesting driftwood. On a sunny day, one might also spot him out on the ocean in his hand-built wooden sea kayak.
