A British comedic icon, writer, actor, director and author, Stephen Fry has performed and appeared in nearly 100 films, television and radio programs, including 50 appearances as Himself. He was part of the ensemble that won a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by the Cast of a Theatrical Motion Picture in 2001 for Robert Altman's GOSFORD PARK; and received a Golden Globe nomination for his 1997 performance in WILDE. He was also nominated for a Tony Award for the Noel Gay musical Me and My Girl. Aside from his work as a popular character actor on both sides of the Atlantic, Fry is probably best known for his British television roles in Blackadder II and Jeeves and Wooster.

He marks his feature directorial debut with BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS for Revolution Films, a screenplay he adapted from Evelyn Waugh's Vile Bodies. He also wrote GOSSIP and ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY for Paramount Pictures. Fry has written five novels: The Liar, Paperweight, Hippopotamus, Making History, and The Stars' Tennis Balls and one autobiography Moab is My Washpot.
