Joss Ackland

Joss Ackland's has appeared in numerous theatre productions, including Captain Brassbound's Conversion (with Ingrid Bergman), A Streetcar named Desire (with Claire Bloom), A Little Night Music and Evita (as Juan Peron), among others. He made his screen debut in the Boulting Brothers' classic Seven Days to Noon and went on to work with a wide range of directors, including Stanley Donen, Don Siegel, Richard Lester, Peter Bogdanovich, Peter Greenaway, Agnieszka Holland and Francesco Rosi. His recent credits include The Sicilian, White Mischief, Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure, The Mighty Ducks, Lethal Weapon II, The Hunt for Red October, The Object of Beauty, Miracle on 34th Street, A Kid in King Arthur's Court, Firelight and Surviving Picasso. Countless television appearances in Britain and the US include the original BBC TV production of Shadowlands, as well as Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy, A Murder of Quality, A Woman Called Jackie and Jacob for TNT's The Bible.
