Giovanni Ribisi

Giovanni Ribisi is one of modern cinema's most electrifying talents, as evidenced by a series of knockout performances that have demonstrated his incredible acting range. He received rave reviews for his portrayal of a morally torn police officer in Heaven, alongside Cate Blanchett, and was nominated for Best Supporting Male at the 2001 Independent Spirit Awards for his emotionally charged turn in The Gift, directed by Sam Raimi. Credits to date include Boiler Room, with Ben Affleck; Gone in Sixty Seconds, opposite Nicolas Cage; director Garry Marshall's The Other Sister; Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan, in which he was a standout as a doomed young medic; Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation; and Cold Mountain, directed by Anthony Minghella.

Additional credits include Lost Highway, SubUrbia, First Love, Last Rites, That Thing You Do! The Mod Squad, Scotch and Milk, The Virgin Suicides, Masked and Anonymous and Basic. Ribisi stars in several recent and upcoming features including I Love Your Work, with Franka Potente and Joshua Jackson; The Flight of the Phoenix, co-starring with Dennis Quaid; Love's Brother, directed by Jan Sardi; and The Big White, with Robin Williams and Holly Hunter.
