Maxwell Caulfield (born on 1959 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a British actor. He starred in the musical Grease 2 (1982), which though not a big box office hit at the time has since become a smash hit, enjoying success both in retail video sales and TV Ratings.
He married Juliet Mills, 18 years his senior in 1980. His other appearances include a role in Judith Krantz's Till We Meet Again, and in the movie Gettysburg. He is perhaps best known for a continual role on the successfull Dynasty spin-off The Colbys. He also appeared in the very first episode of Beverly Hills 90210 as an older man interested in Shannen Doherty until he finds out how young she is. He appeared in a humorous role as Rex Manning, a spoiled has-been rock star in the film Empire Records (1995).
He made his Broadway debut in J. B. Priestley's An Inspector Calls opposite Sian Phillips.
