Alex Carter

Carter has performed in a wide array of television series, films, and theatre productions. He has appeared in a variety of Showtime original movies including The Day Reagan was Shot, The Fixer, Recipe for Revenge, Moonshine Highway, and Taking the Heat. He was also seen in Killing Me Softly for Lifetime and What Kind of Mother are You? for CBS.

In addition to film roles, Carter has starred in Canadian television series such as These Arms of Mine and Black Harbour. He also appeared in both Canadian and American television series such as CBS's Early Edition, JAG, and Martial Law, NBC's The Pretender and Blue Murder, and UPN's Viper and The Sentinel.

Carter also has an impressive theatre career playing lead roles in various productions such as Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire and Achilles in The Greeks.

Carter grew up in Toronto, Canada and went to high school at Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute. Upon graduating, he followed his dream and left for Hollywood where he studied at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and trained with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Carter resides with his family in Santa Monica.
