Garnering attention from critics and audiences alike for her performance as the sexy Czech exchange student in the box office hits American Pie and American Pie 2, Shannon Elizabeth soon scored another success with Miramax's teen horror parody Scary Movie. As Buffy Gilmore, the girl everybody loved to hate, Elizabeth's comedic talents brought her further recognition.

A native of Waco, Texas, Elizabeth began her high-profile international modeling career in New York City upon graduation from high school. After landing a national commercial, Elizabeth launched her acting career in Los Angeles by landing guest starring roles on prime time shows on various major networks.

She was also cast in several independent feature films, including the romantic comedy Dish Dogs, in which she starred opposite Sean Astin and Matthew Lillard.

Elizabeth was most recently seen in Tom Cats with Jerry O'Connell and in Kevin Smith's Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, opposite Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

Elizabeth's interests extend beyond her film career - in February 2001, she founded Animal Avengers with Joseph D. Reitman. Animal Avengers is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to rescuing sick, abused and abandoned animals.
