what they can do with computers..

If you look at this movie closley you'll see that it is animated. when i saw the previews i didn't know it was animated. they did a pretty good job making the actors look real. this was a very good movie. good action and animation. October 30, 2008

Great action with a mid-evil theme!

This movie ranks with the movie 300! Great CGI, with a feel of 3-D at times. A must for your movie files. A second or third watch brings out all of the "little things" you'll miss at first. October 26, 2008

I am beowolf!!!

This movie has to be my all time favorite movie. I love animation. Until i saw this movie I thought the japanese were the leaders of animation. boy was I wrong. I also thought from commercials I had seen that this was live action. I mean, thats how good the cgi was. The story is phenomenal and according to myth possibly true to some extent. The way he always screams his own name as he is kicking some a** is awesome too. watch it on hd dvd though. extra scenes and such. My only complaint, Not in 3D like I saw at the movies. Now THAT would be great! October 17, 2008

good CGI

This movie had a great voice cast amazing CGI and enough action to keep you locked on the screen.

What i would have liked to see more of would be the capture of the time frame. I mean they hinted at it with the burping and the tattered robes falling off the kings shoulder and such. As well as the use of fire for light. However being set back in Denmark AD 507 AND being a directors cut there could have been more brutality, violence, maybe nudity BUT should have been done much much more grittier. People were more savage back then from what i gather
