One of the best of the older movies-- Great for all ages. This DVD is especially fun for those of us who love and appreciate all animals !
( The acting is also very believable.)Hoot (New Line Platinum Series)
January 6, 2009I worked for over 30 years with abused, neglected and disfuncitonal children. It was fun to watch a movie about kids that, although not perfect (but who is?) did positive things even if they did do a little bit of distruction. Revolutions are not clean...ever.
October 18, 2008This film is truly family friendly and fun to watch from beginning to end. Not filled with the typical Hollywood schlock which makes it better than any alleged blockbuster. Perfect for tweens but, to be honest, it is probably TOO intelligent for most adults. It goes to show what a little inspiration and a positive outlook can accomplish. It is good to see that not all idealism is dead in this world. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
July 19, 2008This is a story that has some good growing examples on life and also will keep the interest of those watching. This is a good movie to show 5-8 students.
July 16, 2008It's a great movie. I would also suggest reading the book. My 8th graders had to read it for school. I would recommend to anyone of any age. It is a story about a boy who moves to Florida who meets some interesting people.
