Doesn't Grab Attention

I loved Brother Bear 1 and when I was ordering it online I stumbled upon Brother Bear 2 and decided to buy it as well.

I have to say, I liked the first movie better. Brother Bear 2 just didn't hold my attention well. It contains alot of meaningless romance that strays away from the plot. Don't get me wrong; love is good in a movie, but when the characters stop their quest for over half of the show to hold contests about who is the best matchmaker while at the same time yelling at each other and then abandoning and forgeting about Coda (the little bear) while they fall in love, it just gets my mood down. >.<

Overall, still okay to buy and enjoy, but be warned. If you're not the type of person to find matchmaking interesting (or if you're buying this for a little boy instead of a little girl), you might want to just stick with Brother Bear 2. December 28, 2008

Brother Bear 2 Rocks!!

I purchased Brother Bear 2 because I loved the story of the first one so much and hoped that the second would continue in the heartfelt beauty of it. It did. I love it as much as the first one, which doesn't often happen. August 28, 2008

Great movie

My kids and I really enjoyed seeing the 2nd movie. We thought it was really well done. A great story and love the songs. Thought it was better than the original August 9, 2007

Brother Bear 2

This movie definately wasn't as good as the first one and the first one wasn't as good as it should've been. This one is very cheesy. I think it was made just to make money. I hate those kind of movies - sequels and prequels made just for the money, no love put into it. And the voice actor for "brother bear" is different - I like the one from the first movie better. And the story is also cheesy - the first movie, in a way, brings a few tears to your eyes. Gosh, the first movie was sad, but it was cool. March 25, 2007
