Fun but less than bright
Synopsis.
A Group of scientists are contracted by the government to find a way to increase Crop Production on a islated Island. They are very succesful, unfourtinatly they originaly tested on Komodo Dragons and king Cobras. and they have also grow Huge. They Quickly eat main of the science team and send the rest running for cover. Meanwhile a animal rights activist is planning to crash the party and expose the supposed animal testing and cruilty taking place on the island. what he and his friends and boatman find are Man-Eating, Giant Lizards and a Cobras. Now they must fight to survive and escape the island before the Government bombs the island into non-existance.
The film had a potentialey good plot but never used it. The CG is very dated and the acting is less than satisfactory. But if you love those cheap saturday night pop-corn movies than this wont disappoint.

Glori-Anne got slurped!
Any way, the movie is not very good. The acting, the CGI, and story are only average. Still I gave it 3 stars because of Glori-Anne's appearance and Michael Pare's 60 shooter. At one point, I counted up to sixty shots that he had fired from that hand gun of his without reloading....and he was still firing when I lost count! Amazing! Does anybody know where I can get one of those things?

not a graphich as the pyhton triology but still good
Laughing vs. Cringing
The aforementioned bad actors run around, alternately going after the monsters and running for their lives. They shoot countless bullets, including maybe 30 or so from a 15-round magazine gun...this happens more than once. I can't really complain about that, though. We see inaccuracies like that all the time.
Anyway, overall a pretty bad movie. Only a few interesting scenes. And I believe Michael Pare was asleep for most of the filming. February 9, 2007
