Stealth (2005)

A curious mix between 2001 and Dr. Strangelove!

Strealth is one of these countless films that have bet for the first - rate technology, an impressive visual splendor based on special effects, and that since the first shot really promised much more that what it really showed.

A trio of virtuosi air - centaurs (whose resemblance with Top Gun is more than obvious) has been selected to clean prefixed enemy targets. But then a fourth pilot - a marvelous technological device controlled by a smart and complex computerized system - will accompany in the next missions.

This amazing self controlled will disobey the previous orders, acquiring an own autonomy, will follow virtual targets, causing an impressive aerial chase of the rest of the squadron. The designers of this complex machine are involved into a dark web of political interests allied with a frenetic Officer, whom before such circumstances will have to eliminate all sort of evidences.

As you may guess, every one of the integrants of this team will suffer in own flesh with major or minor grade the terrible consequences of this little mistake.

Suffice to say you will not disappoint from the overwhelming dramatic sequences but the very predictable final lessens what it could have been one of the most electrifying films in years but at the end, one leaves the projection hall with a bitter taste.

Good sound effect and very exciting war game scenes

The sound and visual effect are terrific especailly the sound. A good demo disc to test your AV surround system.

Stealth

This movie has really sensational special effects. The aerials were wonderful and I found that having a female pilot made an otherwise "guy film" into something that the ladies would enjoy.

I receive the wrong item.

In many ocation i receive the wrong item. For exam. i specify the spanish subtitle and Amazon to be ignorant of that. When i buy a dvd movie i look the language or subtitle in spanish, and you need to consider this, because i to refund the Stealth movie 3 times ( to keep in mind the movie specification in spanish language). Great Movie

A most excellent movie. Happy I bought it and have watched it a few times. Great interaction among the cast, good special effects, and edge of your seat story. August 16, 2008
